The following resolution has been approved by the Winston County Commission and recorded in GENREC Book 354, Page No. 106, August 30, 2021 at 08:06:43 a.m. with the Winston County Probate Judge’s Office:
WHEREAS, the Winston County Commission of Winston County, Alabama, is desirous of vacating in the interest of the public, a section of road included in the Winston County road system and described as follows:
A parcel of land located in the West half of the Southwest ¼ of Section 28, Township 11 South, Range 9 West, Winston County, Alabama, being more particularly described as follows:
Winston County Road 3605 beginning at the intersection with CR 339 and proceeding southerly approximately 0.155 miles to the intersection with CR 385. Total length of vacated Right‐of‐Way is approximately 0.155 miles and the total acreage to be vacated is approximately 0.75 acres.
Property as described above will be transferred to the abutting land owners.
WHEREAS, This vacation shall not deprive other property owners of any right they may have to
convenient and reasonable means of ingress and egress to and from their property.
Motion was made by District 2 Commissioner David Cummings, Seconded by District 1 Commissioner Bobby Everett. The motion received the following vote: Aye‐Bobby Everett and David Cummings. Nay‐0.
