Haleyville churches hit by break-ins and vandalism

HALEYVILLE - Two church buildings, located within just one city block of each other in downtown Haleyville, have been hit with break-ins and extensive vandalism over a two day period, in what one church official is terming a hate crime against God.

Police seeking three individuals involved in pharmacy break-in

HALEYVILLE - During the early morning hours of Friday, Sept. 29, three individuals are believed to have arrived at Major’s Drugs on Highway 13 in a silver Chrysler vehicle, according to Police Chief Rodney Lewis. Two of the individuals got out of the vehicle and forced entry to the pharmacy through the front glass door while the third individual remained in the vehicle.

DELMAR   - A suspect tore a hole in the back wall of Delmar Quick Stop  early Friday morning, Oct. 12, in order to gain access into the store, where all of the cigarettes were cleaned out as well as all of the cash taken from the store’s ATM machine.
