Energy Assistance

WINSTON COUNTY - The dates have changed for making appointments with the Marion-Winston Community Action Agency for financial assistance for utility bills for qualified residents. The assistance will be provided through LIHEAP, which is the federally funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

WINSTON COUNTY - Gov. Kay Ivey has awarded grants totaling $46.2 million to assist low-income families in Alabama with energy bills. Locally, the Marion-Winston Counties Community Action Committee will receive $699,100.
