HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Parks and Recreation Department will begin taking registration for fall sports Monday, July 27, with registration continuing through Friday, Aug. 21.
2019 Alligator hunt registration opened June 4, new coastal hunting zone added
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources opened online registration for the state’s 14th annual regulated alligator hunts on Tuesday, June 4, Registration must be completed by 8 a.m., July 10.
A total of 260 Alligator Possession Tags will be distributed among five hunting zones. The administrative fee to apply for an Alligator Possession Tag is $22 and individuals may register one time per zone. While the tag is free, the selected hunters and their assistants are required to have valid hunting licenses in their possession while hunting.
T-Ball registration set Feb. 11-March 1
The Haleyville Park & Recreation Department is holding T-Ball registration on Feb. 11– March 1. T Ball is for boys and girls ages 5 and 6 years old. Your child must be five on or before June 30, 2020. The cost of registration is $35 per child. A family discount will apply. Registration hours will be Monday Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Haleyville Neighborhood Facilities Building. Haleyville Dixie Youth Baseball registration begin Jan. 26
Haleyville Dixie Youth Baseball registration will begin spring registration on Jan. 26 for kids ages 5-12 years of age. All bats used this year must have the USA Baseball Stamp. Cost is $50 per child and $35 for each additional child in the same family. If you have any questions, please contact Bobby Crook at 205-269-0946. You can register at Hibbett's Sporting Goods in the Haleyville Marketplace on Highway 195, on Saturday, Jan. 26, Saturday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Haleyville Parks and Recreation has youth basketball registration under way
HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Park & Recreation will be conducting youth basketball registration Oct. 15-26.
Registration hours are. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Youth basketball is for boys and girls ages 5-12. The age of your child is determined by his or her age as of Sept. 1, 2018.
The registration cost is $35. Credit/debit cards are now accepted at the Neighborhood Facilities Building, located on Highway 13 South. There’s a multi child discount.
Early Bird registration for Haleyville Youth Football and Cheerleading begins March 1
HALEYVILLE - Haleyville will only have one youth tackle football program this fall, and early bird registration is set to begin online Thursday, March 1.
