Staff member at Hamilton Aged & Infirmed facility tests positive for COVID-19

HAMILTON - The Alabama Department of Corrections was informed via self-reporting that two staff members employed at Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka, one staff member employed at Hamilton Aged and Infirmed in Hamilton and one staff member employed at Bullock Correctional Facility in Union Springs have tested positive for COVID-19.

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville High School Lions dropped a close one to the Hamilton Aggies Tuesday, Nov. 19, by a score of 58-53.
Clay Blanton lead the scoring for Haleyville with 25 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists.
Grayson Long brought in 13 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists.
Jon Tyler Gilbert had six points on the night, with Grant Dye close behind with 5 point, 5 rebounds and 1 steal. Austin Barry contributed 2 points, 4 rebound, 1 steal, 1 assist and took 2 charges.

HALEYVILLE - It was a night of emotion and tears for Haleyville as seniors and parents were recognized in a pre-game ceremony at the Haleyville v. Hamilton football game Friday, Nov. 1.
This was the final season game for the Lions, losing to 5A Hamilton 28-14.
