Hamilton slips by Haleyville in Lions final season game

HALEYVILLE - It was a night of emotion and tears for Haleyville as seniors and parents were recognized in a pre-game ceremony at the Haleyville v. Hamilton football game Friday, Nov. 1.
This was the final season game for the Lions, losing to 5A Hamilton 28-14.

Ladies honored at HHS pep rally


Haleyville High School senior football players honored Dr. Beth Moore and cheerleader sponsor Wendy Rushing at the pep rally held before the Hamilton football game. TUSCALOOSA -  The Haleyville Running Lions performed well at the 4A Section 2 meet at Sokol Park in Tuscaloosa on a COLD Thursday October 31st.  The girls team brought home an amazing trophy finishing just behind American Christian Academy to take 2nd place.
Top 5 girls from Haleyville were Katie Beth Boyles, Mae Boyles, Carlie Pendley, Ana Aaron and Emma Nethery.
The boys  finished 4th behind American Christian Academy, Northside and Indian Springs to advance them on to state.

Football players honor senior cheerleaders


The Haleyville High School senior football players honored the only two seniors on the varsity cheerleading squad at the pep rally prior to the Haleyville v. Hamilton football game on Friday, Nov. 1. Cheerleaders from left are: Mallory Rushing and Emma Allen. Football players are: Caleb Williams, Eli Wakefield, Matthew Stephens, Dawson Hyde, Nick Whitman and Eric Hollinghurst, Brantson Lambert, Matt Baugus, Ryan Baccus, Brayden Hutcheson, Josh Weaver, Jackson Kennedy and Ty Black.

Fayette eliminates Haleyville from area vb tourney

CURRY - The Haleyville Lady Lions were eliminated from the area tournament Monday, Oct. 21, in Curry. HHS lost in three straight sets, 25-18, 25-8, 28-26.

HHS moves final regular season game to Halloween

HALEYVILLE - Nothing goes together like great football and candy.
To that end, Haleyville High School has moved its final regular game of the season to Thursday, Oct. 31.  As the Haleyville Lions take on their arch nemesis, the Hamilton Aggies, kids can enjoy the candy throwouts, a costume contest (friendly costumes only), face painting and much more!
All HHS students are encouraged to come out for Halloween at the Bubba.

Hammer Award given to Lambert


Brantson Lambert was given the honor of carrying the hammer on to the field for the Russellville football game for Haleyville. The award is sponsored by the HHS band and band boosters organization and awarded at the afternoon pep rally.
