WINSTON COUNTY - Most parents in the county and in Bear Creek will need to purchase their students' school supplies this year, perhaps while benefiting from the back-to-school sales tax holiday that starts today; they can also take advantage of local school supply giveaways.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Capstone Health has received recognition as one of the top 2023 Community Health Center Quality and Public Health Champion awardees in the nation. Capstone Health - which has clinics in Double Springs and Nauvoo, has been named in the top 20 percent of health centers receiving Community Health Quality Recognition badges from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Health Resources and Services Administration.
