Addison Lady Bulldogs state champs

BIRMINGHAM  - It was a fight to the finish Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Bill Harris Arena at the Crossplex in Birmingham. The Addison Lady Bulldogs made it six state volleyball championships in a row. The Winston County Lady Yellow Jackets took it to the fifth set, at one point leading two sets to one. Last year, Addison defeated Meek in the finals in 1A.

ADDISON - It was an emotional homecoming in Addison Friday, as the Bulldogs channeled their love and remembrance for a fallen teammate into a 38-12 victory over the Vinemont Eagles.

ADDISON - The titans of Class 2A Alabama high school volleyball went head-to-head Thursday, Sept. 27, at Addison High School, playing a tri-match with Sulligent.
Addison easily defeated Sulligent  in three straight, 25-6, 25-11 and 25-8. In the second game, libero Destiny Walker served 14 straight points for the Lady Bulldogs.
Winston County then took three straight from Sulligent, 25-10, 25-9, and 25-8.
No. 1 Addison defeated No. 2 Winston County three games to 1 in the final match of the night.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Addison Bulldogs trampled the Winston County Yellow Jackets 51 - 18 Friday, Sept. 7 at Malcolm Blake Stadium.

Winston County won the coin toss and chose to defend in the first half and go on the offensive during the second half. Yellow Jacket Dante Smith kicked off. The game started with a penalty of five yards against the Jackets on the first play, and they lost their first drive by downs. Another penalty, this time for a personal foul, gave a loss of 15 yards to the Jackets.
