Jeffery M. McConnell, 68, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Jeffery was born October 28, 1957, to William W. and Susie M. McConnell in Columbus, Georgia.
Visitation will be Friday January 2, 2026, from 12-1 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where his funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Double Springs Memorial Cemetery.
Jeffery is survived by his brother, Robert "Bobby" (Linda) McConnell; a host of nieces and nephews and friends and staff at Haleyville Health and Rehab, Winston Marion ARC and Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, William M. McConnell; mother, Susie M. Stringfellow McConnell; brothers, William "Billy" McConnell, Charles "Red" McConnell and Jerry McConnell and sister, Carol Taylor.
