Local students named to University of West Alabama dean’s list

WINSTON COUNTY - The University of West Alabama has announced nearly 1,200 outstanding undergraduate students receiving academic honors for the spring 2026 academic semester, including nearly 700 named to the dean's list.
The dean's list gives recognition to those undergraduate students with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C."
Local students who made the dean’s list are Rylee Dees, of Double Springs, majoring in early childhood/elementary education (Pre-K-3/K-6) and Marilyn Donaldson, of Haleyville, majoring in special education.
