Charles "Chuck" Barber Hilton, Jr., 68, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026.
He was a graduate of Haleyville High School, Livingston College, belonged to TKE Fraternity and had a maste'rs degree in business management. He worked as an electrician and had a degree in drug counseling, having worked at several rehabs over the years, helping many people on the road to recovery. He loved NASCAR, Alabama football and watching westerns.
His graveside service will be Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 12 p.m. in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Hilton; sisters, Leanne Frederick (Doug) and Loretta Bartlett; brother, William Hilton (Becky); nieces, Brandi Roberson, Madison Young and Marina Nava; several nieces and nephews and stepchildren, Tollar Ray and Brianna Ray.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Verna Hilton; father, Charles Hilton; mother, Martha Rae Lovett Hilton; mama, Cleta Hilton; brother, Byron Hilton and brother-in-law, Tom Bartlett.
