Brookelynne Alexus Dowdy, 20, of Double Springs, entered into rest on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Brookelynne was born in Birmingham and was a graduate of Lynn High School, Class of 2019. Brookelynne loved everybody, especially her nephews, Samuel, Carter and Jett and her fur baby, Willy. She loved taking pictures, having bonfires and hanging out with her friends, being on TikTok and Snapchatting. She and Bailey loved laughing and joking with each other. Brookelynne was a precious person and was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 28, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ashridge Community Cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Frankie and Amanda Adams; father, Lee Dowdy; sisters, Emilee (Jericho) Lewis, Faith (Evan Brimer) Adams, Summer Dowdy, Sarah Adams, Emma Fain, Allie (Bryan) Rothkin,and Amberly Snead; brothers, Blake Adams (girlfriend Skylar Ewing) and Dakota Burke; grandparents, Christeen and Hollis Adams, Jr. and Patti Sutton; great-grandparents, Mildred Williams, Jenny Lee Burke and Jeanette “Nanny” Beckman; nephews, Samuel, Carter and Jett; nieces, Katie and Presley; uncles, Neeley Adams, Jeremy (April) Herron, Patrick Herron and Wendell Adams (girlfriend Kita), aunts, Dorothy Adams, Amber Spradlin and Jennifer (Chuck) Steinbrecher; cousins, Ciara, Marquita, Hannah, Carley, Peyton, Arielle, Courtney, Zachary, Ella Ruth, Taylor, Brittany, Alexandria and Sean; fur baby, Willy and a host of friends and other family members.
Brookelynne was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Bailey Bennett; daughter, Madelyn Grace and great-grandparents, Hollis and Dorothy Adams and Earnest Green.
