Clarence Wayne Adair

Clarence Wayne Adair, 74, of Double Springs, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021 at his home. He was retired from the U.S. Forest Service and a self-employed poultry farmer. He served as a deacon at Adair Chapel Church until its closing. He and his wife, Sharon, became members at Henryfield First Congregational Methodist Church, where he loved to help with singing.

His visitation will be Friday January 29, 2021 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Henryfield First Congregational Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 1 PM at the church, with Bro. Hugh Cavender and Bro. Danny Page officiating. Burial to follow in Barnett Chapel Cemetery.  Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Partridge Adair; daughter, Christy (Danny) Page of Double Springs; grandchildren, Caitlin Page and Brandon (Angelia) Page; great-grandchild, Brycen South; brother, David (Dorothy) Adair of Double Springs; sister, Glenda (Wayland) Patterson of Panama City, FL.; sisters-in-law, Janice (Melton) Partridge of Addison and Iris Dye of Jackson's Gap and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rebie Adair; brothers, Steve Adair and Kenneth Adair; sister, Brenda Watts and nephew, Steve Farley.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude or Shriners Hospitals.
