Cade Patton is the first Mr. Arley Day, while Savannah Smith is chosen the 2021 Miss Arley Day.
ARLEY - One of the more prestigious awards offered by the Arley Women’s Club is their designation of Miss Arley Day annually, who will be in the parade on Arley Day. The non-profit organization chose to add, for the first time, Mr. Arley Day this year.

Pantry to accept donations

ARLEY - Arley’s Free Lil’ Pantry will have a table set up at Arley Day Saturday, May 15, for those who want to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, etc.
The pantry is located at 98 County Road 3926 just off County Road 12 in the Wilson Bend area.

Arley Day is back!


Arley Women’s Club sponsors the Arley Day Festival, and the AWC chairs are making plans for the best Arley Day yet. From left are Montie Pafford, Johnna Bailey and AWC President Barbara Wills.
ARLEY - With all the ice and snow we had this winter, some are looking forward to warmer weather. With warmer weather, outside activities begin in earnest. What is the best way to kick off summer you ask? Arley Day is a sure-fire way to do it.

Arley Day 5k/fun walk

ARLEY - If you are interested in the participating in the Arley Day 5K and or fun walk, you may pickup entry forms at the Meek High School or elementary school office, as well as Traders and Farmers Bank and Traditions Bank in Arley. Forms are also available on line at www.winstonk12.org/6/home. Those who register before May 4, are guaranteed a shirt. After May 4, it will be on a first come, first serve basis.

The event will be held Saturday, May 18, beginning at 7 a.m. at Arley First Baptist Church, Hickory Lane, Arley, Alabama 35541.
