LYNN - Christmas season came early this year to the Town of Lynn when the council agreed to purchase a 14-foot tall Christmas tree, decked with 435 light-emitting diode lights, during their monthly town meeting on Monday, Sept. 21.
LYNN - Fall is approaching and with it comes time for high school football. One of the main pieces of protective equipment is the helmet, used to combat concussions in the contact sport. Helmets are required to be reconditioned every two years, and Lynn High School will need to have theirs ready before football begins.
LYNN - Kids and adults alike in Lynn will be able to play a game of basketball whenever they want as the outside court gets built over the coming months. Due to the large quoted price on creating a basketball court in Lynn, town officials are taking sealed bids through Monday, May 11 at the close of business at 4:30 p.m.
LYNN - Joe Bell, who has been working part-time for the Town of Lynn, now has a permanent, full-time job, with all benefits, at the Lynn street and water departments. He was approved for hiring by the town council at their meeting on Monday, Sept. 17.
