Clovis Austin Ware, 80, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Mr. Ware was originally from Jefferson County, where he was born to Clovis and Zadie Ware. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver for over 25 years and was employed by Jimson Trucking before his retirement. He was a Christian and attended North Russellville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his partner for 30 years, Dorthy South; sister, Maxine Langston; nieces, Shelia Harry and Danielle McCormick; nephew, Doug McCormick, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Clovis was preceded in death by his parents, Clovis M. Ware and Zadie Marcum Ware.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 12-1 p.m., with his funeral following at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. Interment will follow in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
