William Vernon "Bunk" Brown

Bunk, as he was called by all who knew him, was born October 21, 1935. Most knew he drove a truck for several years and met Virginia Sue Jenkins at a cafe ran by her parents in Doyline, Louisiana. They were married December 9, 1956 and celebrated 65 -  almost 66 - years of marriage. Bunk was a very hard working, loving and generous person. He made many friends over the years. If there was a dollar for every time you asked if someone knew Bunk Brown, our family would be millionaires, but we had something better. Having him for a Husband, Daddy and Pappaw was the greatest blessing and we are so thankful for the life he lived and all the wonderful precious years.

His visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 12:30 - 2 p.m. at Lynn Baptist Church.  His funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Lynn Baptist Church. Burial in Baughn Cemetery.  Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville will direct.
