Daniel Ellis Thomas, 85, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Church of Christ.
His visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2022 from noon - 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Wayne Phillips and Lee Barnett officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Silas Thomas; sons, Terry Thomas and Bryan Thomas; 1 brother and 4 sisters, Sam Thomas, Linda Nicholson, Marie Storie, Donna Pellit and Mary Hendrix; grandchildren, Eric Wayne Thomas, Tiffany Amber Thomas and Crystal Dawn Thomas; great-grandchildren, Caden Barnes and Canaan Barnes and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Anderson Thomas and Mary Etta Barnett Thomas and an infant brother.
