William Douglas Ward, 67, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Doug was born on May 9, 1955 in Guin.
His visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where his funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
Doug is survived by his nephews, Joshua A. Martin and Michael O’Frecia and a host of friends who were like family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ollie Ward and Dorothy Euline Taylor Ward; sister, Camilla B. Morrow and grandparents, Ollie and Belle Ward and Maud and Cammie Taylor.
