Nicholas Joseph Pisacrita, Jr., 86, of the Water Valley community, formerly of New Rochelle, NY, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 9, 1937 to Nicholas J., Sr. and Mary J. Pisacrita. Nicholas served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, September 4, 2023 from noon to 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where his funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Brandon Pisacrita and Brother Junior Garmon will officiate the service. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Nicholas is survived by his wife of 16 years, Allie Pisacrita; sons, Nicholas Joseph Pisacrita, III of Anniston and Peter D. Pisacrita and his wife Maureen of Danbury, CT; daughter, Liza Umbreit and her husband Robert of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Viola Uvaldi of New Rochelle, NY and Mary Angela Trulli of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas J. Pisacrita, Sr. and Mary J. Belucci Pisacrita; son, Jeffery W. Pisacrita and sister, Norma Fanelli.
