HALEYVILLE - The family of Jacob "Jake" Hutcheson, 38, of Haleyville, has not seen or had contact with him in over a week and is asking for the public's help to locate him.
Hutcheson was last seen Monday, December 11, walking on Highway 13 North around the Alabama Power substation. He was wearing jeans, a hoodie and a cap. Hutcheson is considered homeless and likes to stay outdoors. He does not have a phone of his own and uses friends or other persons' phones when he checks in with his family. The family says he has never been gone this long without checking in with them, so they are very worried. They have filed a missing persons report with the Haleyville Police Department, which is actively investigating.
Hutcheson is 5'8" and weighs approximately 150 pounds. If anyone has seen him or has any information about his whereabouts, please call the Haleyville Police Department at (205) 486-5201 or Brandy Perry at (205) 269-5148.
