Amber Nicole Farmer, 18, of Arley, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
She was born July 25, 2006 to Byron and Terri Farmer. Amber was energetic, "sassy", caring and most of all beautiful. To know Amber was to love her. She was a big talker and loved listening to music. Amber was passionate about volleyball and would have started UAB this fall to study pediatric nursing.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Arley First Baptist Church in Arley, Alabama from 1-3 p.m., where her funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Arley. Dr. Roger White will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Farmer, Aaron Farmer, Blane Sanderson, Austin Sanderson, Cain Winnett and Bradigan Farmer.
Amber is survived by her mother, Terri Farmer; father; Byron Farmer; sisters; Mikella Dunnell and Amy Farmer; grandparents, Thomas Berton and Shirley Farmer; best friend, Madyson "Maddi" Calvert; the Arley Coffee Shop Family and a host of many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Sandra Farley and Mary Ann Farmer; great-grandparents, Avalene Farley, Barbara Donahue and Edith Farmer and uncle, Steven Donahue.
