Crystal Sue Pickens Chalus, 44, was born January 9, 1980. She passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her home in Decatur.
Crystal was a loving wife. She loved spending time with her husband, Richard. They enjoyed going to hockey games and watching wrestling. Crystal loved her pet, Peanut.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel, with Chris Cooper and James McCullar officiating. Burial to follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Sue McCaig; father, Larry (Cozette) Pickens; husband, Richard Chalus; mother-in-law, Dorothy Chalus; brother, Jake Pickens; sister, Whitley (Brandon) Fowler; stepson, Dalton Chalus and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Stefani Chalus.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, JC and Corine Landers and Haram and Eva Pickens; aunt, Judy Berry and father-in-law, Dennis Chalus.
