Raymond Junior Ward, 88, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday August 3, 2025 at his home. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the Alabama National Guard and from the City of Haleyville.
His visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with Bro. Brent Palmer officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Cavender, Justin Cavender, Seth Hicks, Nicholas Hicks, Levi Rodgers and Trevor Pipkins.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Ward; sons, Gayron Ward and Trevor Pipkins; daughters, Rhonda (Rodney) Grant and Regina Hicks; grandchildren, Julia (Tyler) Capozzi, Shannon Cavender, Justin (Cassie) Cavender, Jessica (Chris) Motes, Seth Hicks, Nicholas Hicks and Levi Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Lexi Motes, Olivia McConnell, Tanner Motes, Anna Leigh Capozzi and Barrett Capozzi; brother, Kenneth (Margaret) Ward; sisters, Nellie Sue Mann and Jeanette (Robert) Mays; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozie and Addie Ward; sisters, Margret Sanders and Fayrene Pickard; and brother, Charles Ward.
