Helen Cochran Sartin, 81, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. After 33 years as a quality control inspector, she retired from Harden Manufacturing. She was a member of South Haleyville Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2025 from 12 - 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Rayburn Whitman and Bro. Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Kim) Sartin and Tina Sartin; grandchild, Matthew (Makinna) Sartin; great-grandchild, Merritt Sartin; brother, Bobby (Wanda) Cochran; sisters-in-law, Sara Cochran, Carolyn Cochran and Beverly Cochran and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lent Sartin; her parents, George and Esther Cochran and her siblings, Eugene Cochran, Martha Fuller, Donnie Cochran and Wayne Cochran.
