Mary Marie Porter, 88, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2026 from 12-2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will begin at 2 p.m., with Bro. Steve Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Orange Cemetery in Russellville. Pallbearers will be Andrew Johns, Whitten Johns, Bradley Hubbert, Blake Arnett, Brodie Stults and Montana Carroll.
Ms. Porter is survived by her son: Stephen (LaDonna) Porter; brother: JM (Marie) Ivey; grandchildren, Chastidy (Andrew) Johns, Stephanie Porter and Jamie (Bradley) Hubbert and great-grandchildren, Blake Arnett, Brodie Stults, Whitten Johns, Elizabeth Underwood, Harper Johns and Beau Hubbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell Ivey and Mary Lou Cannon; husband, James Porter and siblings, Nell Wint, Ruby Freeman and Richard Ivey.
