Wanda Faye Campbell, 74, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Wanda was born August 22, 1952 to Eugene and Lenora Cook. She was a beautiful, kind soul who enjoyed going to church and watching her grandchildren. She was special to so many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Bear Creek. Brother Chris Sherrill will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Linda Brown; daughters, Michele (Franklin) Webster and Linda (Justin) Farr; grandchildren, Austin (Kimberlyn) Campbell, Zachary Farr, Gracie Hester, Kara Beth Farr and Deklin Farr; three great-grandchildren and a host of honorary grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lenora Cook; father, Eugene Cook and brother, Danny Cook.
