Jackie "Jack" Walter Ritchie

Jackie "Jack" Walter Ritchie, 60, of Nauvoo, entered into rest on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Mr. Ritchie was born on April 25, 1958, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a commercial tile apprentice around the world.  Jack loved riding motorcycles, getting tattoo's, being a backyard mechanic and working on his trucks.  He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football.  Jack liked watching his favorite TV shows and playing with his granddaughter. Their favorite thing to do together was turn up 106.9 the Eagle as loud as it would go and rock out together.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. Brother Donnie Dodd will officiate.  Burial will follow in Ashbank Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Nauvoo.  

Jack is survived by his daughter, Jazz Haley Paige Ritchie; ex-wife and special friend of 40 years, Gail "Lady Blue" Ritchie; mother, Sarah Ritchie; brother, Jeffery David Harbin; sisters, Judith (David) Milliken, Janice Ayers, Joyce (Jimmy) Harris  and Jerri (Marcus) Smith. He was "PawPaw" to a granddaughter, JaeAuna Nevaeh Raine "Ladybug" Ritchie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Dee Ritchie; brother, James "Jim" Ritchie, grandparents, Marsh and Netta Jones, Aaron Ritchie and Agnes Blair.
