Elliott crowned 2020 Princess of Hearts

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Double Springs Middle School sixth grader Lilly Grace Elliott was crowned the 2020 Princess of Hearts during the annual pageant Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Winston County High School gymnasium.  Elliott was crowned by the 2019 Princess of Hearts Kaylie Gardner.

Seventh grader Lizzy Bass was named first alternate.  Second alternate was eighth grader Hope Jacobs.  Third alternate was seventh grader Sara Ford and fourth alternate was eighth grader Madisen Comeens.  Comeens was also named Miss Citizenship, an award voted on by faculty members at DSMS.

Seventh grader Maggie Tucker was named Miss Congeniality, an award voted on by Princess of Hearts contestants.  Sixth grader Macy Till won the Miss Photogenic award.

The pageant was sponsored by the Winston County High School Band Boosters.
