Joyce Faye Christopher, 75, of Haleyville, passed away on March 15, 2018 in Birmingham.
She was born on September 11, 1942 in Hackleburg. Joyce was a lifelong member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Joyful Noise Sunday School Class. She graduated from Hackleburg High School and went on to become a public accountant. She never stopped learning and loved to travel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Dr. Lance Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Corinth Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
Joyce is survived by her grandchildren, Jason (Tanya) Christopher, Kayren Howton and Kristi Christopher; brothers, Jerry (Sue) Dickert and Joe (Marlene) Dickert; great-grandchildren, Noah Hadder, Jeremy Christopher, Jackson Christopher and David Jermea Jr.; niece, Tonya (Barry) Aaron and Jeremy (Debbie) Dickert and Jerome (Sheila) Dickert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Chris) Walter Christopher; son, David Christopher; father, Joe Thomas Dickert, mother, Martha Frances Cox; brothers, James Clyde Dickert, Travis Bascom Dickert and mother-in-law, Louise Christopher.
