HALEYVILLE - The Alabama Baseball Coaches Association has named its 2020-2021 Academic Varsity Teams and All-Academic Senior Teams. Haleyville High School's 2021 varsity baseball team has been named an Academic Varsity Team, with an average grade point average of 3.93. Russellville, Curry and Jasper high schools also made the academic varsity teams.
Three 2021 HHS graduates who were members of the baseball team have been named to the All-Academic Senior Teams. Hayden Armstrong and Camden Smith both made the first team. Armstrong's grade point average was 4.56 and Smith's was 4.00. Aaron Marshall made the third team with a grade point average of 3.57.
The Alabama Baseball Coaches Association's mission is to educate, honor and promote the state's amateur baseball players and coaches.
