Billy Joe Cutcher Jr., 61, of Addison, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Joe was born December 2, 1963 to Billy Joe and Judy Lee Cutcher. He grew up in the Nesmith community on a farm. He had a love of sports, Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball. Joe was an avid hunter, whether it be deer, emus or armadillos. Joe loved taking the kids hunting and fishing. He loved watching their excitement when they saw a deer in the greenfield. Joe was a father to Kasey, Hunter and Tyler and a grandfather to Alaina and Aliyah. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and grandbabies.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where his memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Brother Jeff Wiggins will officiate.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Kasey (Chris) Woods; son, Tyler Cutcher; granddaughters, Aliyah Cutcher and Alaina Cutcher; sister, Teresa Jones; brother, Ricky (Jamie) Cutcher and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Hunter Cutcher; father, Billy Joe Cutcher; mother, Judy Cutcher and grandparents, Haron and Alma Cutcher and Cecil and Dorothy Kilpatrick.
