Gary "Doogle" McGaughy, 67, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at his residence.
Gary was born August 21, 1957. He was a great husband, father and friend. He was hardworking and quick witted. Gary loved to build and paint cars.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where his funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Levi Sides will officiate.
Gary is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jackie McGaughy; sons, Jared (Megan) McGaughy and Brandon McGaughy; granddaughters, Kynlie McGaughy and Alyssa McGaughy and grandson, Parker McGaughy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emoise and Dean McGaughy and brother, Jerry McGaughy.
