HALEYVILLE - The retirement of long-time Haleyville Middle School Principal Bo Wilcoxson after over 30 years total service in education has created a vacancy that board members and administrators agree will be difficult to fill.

Webb retiring as Winston County E-9-1-1 Director

DOUBLE SPRINGS - A committee formed by the Winston County E-9-1-1 Board is seeking a replacement for Winston County Enhanced 9-1-1 Director Tim Webb who will retire in February with over 36 years of total service to the state.

WCHS facing major staff changes

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Major personnel changes are taking place at Winston County High School ahead of the new school year starting for students on Aug. 7, when students will see a new teacher in the auto technology department as well as new faces in the positions of head football coach and band director.
