LYNN - There will be a benefit car show for Mt. Vernon Church Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Lynn Community Center, located at 22584 Highway 5 in Lynn. The entry fee will be $10, with the first 50 entries receiving a dash plaque. The winner will receive a trophy.
Vendors are welcome to set up for a donation to the church. Concessions will be available for purchase.
For more information, contact Rodney Buchanan at (205) 300-8391. Proceeds will go to benefit Mt. Vernon Church, also known as Old King School House, to rebuild after the church, which is located in the Natural Bridge area, was struck by lightning and destroyed by fire June 7, 2025.
