Aloha Fain

Aloha Eileen Fain, 78, of Vinemont, formerly of Arley, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Cullman Medical Center.

Aloha was born August 29, 1947. She devoted her life to caring for her home and the family she loved. Being a homemaker was never simply her role - it was her calling. She created a home filled with warmth, comfort and unconditional love, always placing the needs of those she cherished above her own. Aloha had a gift for making things beautiful, whether she was tending to her flowers or carefully stitching a quilt with loving hands. She loved the holidays and being outdoors. More than any hobby or accomplishment, her greatest joy in life was her family.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2026 from 12-7 p.m. at Faith Restoration Church in Hanceville (319 College Drive, NE, Hanceville, Alabama 35077) Aloha will lie in state on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 10 a.m. until her funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Addison Church of God Cemetery. Reverend Oney Cooper and Reverend Jim Hale will officiate.  Nichols Funeral Home will direct.

Aloha is survived by her daughter, Melissa E. Fowler and her husband, Johnny; sons, Robert L. Fain, Jr. and his wife, Tracy and Jesse R. Fain, Sr. and his wife, Elisha; 14 grandchildren and a multitude of great grandchildren; sisters, Cathy Howes and husband, Mike and Valaria Fabrizus and brother-in-law, Mike Frazier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Roberta Brooks; husband, Robert Fain Sr.; brother, Fred Brooks Jr.; sister, Lila Frazier; brother-in-law, Billy Fabrizus; sister-in-law, Larraine Brooks; son, Darren S. Fain and granddaughter, Jessica Stoebe.

Pallbearers will be Darren Fain, Jr., Robert Fain III, Jesse Fain, Jr., John Fain, Duncan Fain, James Carter and Roman Carter.
