Obie Cleveland Thompson, 91, of the Sardis community, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home. Mr. Thompson was born on January 17, 1929 in Cullman County, Alabama. He loved to fish and was an avid Alabama football fan.

Belinda Pounders Wimberley

Belinda Pounders Wimberley, 61, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at her residence. Having lived in the area all of her life, she was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She was a leader of the Secret Sister group and was a strong supporter of the St. Paul Relay for Life team.

William Randell Self

William Randell Self, 70, of Haleyville, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Self if survived by his children, Hillary Self Domingue and William David Self; siblings, Randy Self, Diane Vickery, Sandy Boldt, Vernon Lee Self and Effie Mae Campbell; and grandchildren, Carol-Gracie Domingue and Jaydn Domingue.

Bobby Neal Moore, 81, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was retired from McGriff Tire having worked for 25 years, and a member and Deacon at Liberty Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Trinton Blake Ory, 16, of Arley, entered into rest on Saturday, April 18, 2020 in Arley. Trint was born on December 1, 2003 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a sophomore at Meek High School, where he was involved in sports, especially baseball.
